Schleich - Tapir

Tapirs eat as much as 75 pounds of fruit, berries, and leaves a day, so be sure to stock your refrigerator with lots of fresh produce. This one has a HUUUUUUGE appetite! In fact, this tapir likes foraging in the pantry after you go to sleep, and might even eat the veggies off your dinner plate if you don't pay attention. Schleich’s Tapir is a great model of the pig-like jungle herbivore. It is sculpted in a walking position with its front left leg mid-step. The front half of its body and both its back legs are painted black, while its back, rear and tummy feature its characteristic white patch. This model is beautifully detailed all over its body, including textured fur, wrinkles to indicate movement, and its unique facial features such as its sweet ears and small nose trunk. The adult Tapir pairs perfectly with the Schleich Tapir Calf, so add this wild duo to your jungle animal collection.
